Sharmine is a caseworker within the Confiscation and Restraints department and due to commence her training contract in November 2017.
Alongside this, she is studying towards obtaining her Legal Practice Course and Masters of Law qualification at the University of Law.
Sharmine has a keen interest in cases of corporate crime and this has been underpinned by her experience of preparing cases concerning fraud, financial and business crime. She has also been involved in preparing cases concerning drug conspiracies and criminal offences.
In her spare time, Sharmine assists organisations who strive for social justice taking part in programmes designed to rehabilitate prisoners and assist young carers and persons within the ‘BAME’ background into employment.
